Bill Walker is a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM, the National Academy of Sports Medicine and has been certified since 2015. Along with the gift of inspiration,Bill has the heart and ministry of a teacher, prioritizing the skill of strength to the people. It's not enough that you do the lifts, it's important that can do them with proper form and technique. Bill wants you to know why. Bill wants you to understand what your doing and to give you a basic understanding of strength programming as well.
Bill has worked with individuals of all ages and fitness levels from teaching middle school kids how to Barbell Squat and use free weights to teaching seniors how to Clean and Press and Deadlift. One of Bill's happiest moments was teaching a young six grader to the point that she could teach her peers and adults how to Squat properly. Bill has had the opportunity to travel to different DC Public middle Schools and charter schools and teach the gift of fitness and has volunteered with Ballou High School working with Students, student athletes, faculty staff and alumni. Bill believes a strong populace is a healthy populace and in the importance of serving and teaching your community.
Using what Bill calls the "Riddle of Steel" he endeavors to help you reach your fitness and aesthetic goals through strength training. Barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, calisthenics, sled work and odd object testing with make you stronger and overall more athletic. From a physical standpoint, improving your strength and athleticism along with proper nutrition (as Bill says jewelry for the glorious temple of God that is your body) will get you to the your aesthetic goals far greater than working on your perceived aesthetics alone. Through training your mind, body and soul, Bill endeavors to coach you to become the greatest version of yourself imaginable.
